Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render services to your community.

SASSA might be rendering solutions such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency stated it can be alarmed with regard to the large amount of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The purpose from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your higher quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no absolutely functional office devoted to service the area on a daily basis. The support position made for intervention ordeals a superior inflow of potential beneficiaries, which makes it tough for your office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more assets to allow the servicing of all clients and maximize usage of Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
